- This is a story about a little girl who gets lost in the woods while ignoring her grandmother’s warning about the dark. As she ventures deeper into the woodlands, she encounters “El Cuco” and now she must survive until daylight and find her way back home as both Russian and Puerto Rican folklore creatures will either help or take her deeper into the woods.
