- Description
- Windows emerged from a summer spent in Italy that reshaped my way of seeing. Each paired image reflects quiet moments from Florence, Siena, and Venice. Rather than documenting events, the work functions as a visual record of memory, place, and time.

As an artist,I pay attention to the things most people move past without a second thought — a quiet corner of a room, the way light shifts through a window, objects that seem small but feel like home. Photography lets me slow down and show others the world the way I see it. Familiar environments feel honest, comforting, and real.
Lighting is always the first thing that draws me in. It can change the entire feeling of an image and suggest a story without revealing everything at once. Even though I work digitally, I often edit my photos with the softness and warmth of film. There is something about that look that feels timeless, as if the moment is already part of a memory.
I want my photographs to make people pause and notice the beauty in everyday life. They are quiet and intentional, inviting viewers to find meaning in details they might otherwise overlook.
Photography is a way of preserving feelings: the comfort of home, routine, and small scenes that become more important over time. By capturing these moments as they are, I create a visual record of how I experience the world. My hope is that others can feel a connection too, even if the moment comes from my own life.
Nostalgia pushes me to make images. I first picked up a camera because of my mom. She studied photography at FIT, and following that path felt like a natural extension of the home and memories that shape my work. Through my photographs, I hope people slow down, look closer, and see something familiar in the ordinary. - Medium/Materials/Techniques
