About this Item
- Title
- The Vitruvian Man Puzzle
- Date
- 2025
- Description
- The Vitruvian Man Puzzle renders the Black body inaccessible, rejecting Western ideals of beauty. Memeifying Da Vinci’s figure mutates the canon through variation. The obscured DNA strand, shown as the exhibition caption, resists legibility and capture.
- Artist Statement:
- He is interested in what happens when visibility becomes power, and how fashion, identity, and image can both challenge and feed the systems that define us. His photos sit in that space of contradiction, between presence and disappearance, resistance and desire.
