Reflecting on the women who came before her on the maternal side of her family, Barić explores their presence and impact with inherited objects displayed carefully in her childhood backyard. Barić’s photographs speak powerfully about selfhood, the people she loves, and the intersectionality of womanhood and queerness within her first generation American identity.
