Description
This portrait series honors the culture that shaped my identity —bodegas, dominó, and rollos. Growing up Dominican American in New York City, these everyday moments embodied community, rhythm, and warmth.
Artist Statement:
As a Dominican American photographer from Bushwick, Brooklyn, my work explores the intersection of culture, fashion, and environment. Through portraits grounded in the aesthetics of New York Hip-Hop, I capture the rhythm of identity and the power of self-expression that defines my community.
