I am a photographer and visual artist focused on storytelling through culture, community, and environmental awareness. My work explores how identity is preserved, adapted, and expressed in everyday life, particularly within immigrant neighborhoods in New York City.
I'm drawn to these spaces because they hold layers of history, resilience, and transformation that often go unnoticed. Photography allows me to slow down and engage with quiet details that reveal a person’s roots, values, and lived experience.
For more than two years, I have been developing a documentary portrait series in Queens, one of the most culturally diverse areas in the world. Through real-life scenes and intimate portraits, I aim to highlight the richness and complexity of these communities in a way that feels both personal and familiar. My photographs honor everyday life while offering a more nuanced perspective on immigrant identity, moving beyond stereotypes to reflect dignity, pride, and humanity.
Alongside documentary work, I identify as a conservationist photographer, using visual storytelling to explore humanity’s relationship with the environment. This perspective led me to create an installation centered on electronic waste, addressing our growing dependence on technology and what happens after devices are discarded. - Medium/Materials/Techniques
