A series of self portraits based on a personally written poem, a reflection on the restless mind. Examining the blurred lines between faith and desperation, the thoughts and prayers that awaken in solitude.
- Artist Statement:
- As a photographer, I enjoy working most with conceptual portraiture, specifically focusing on fine art and fashion photography. I strive to create photographs that are exaggerated and punchy, while also exploring surrealism. Being both creative director and artist in what I create is very important to me, and something I hope to heavily build upon in the future. I am greatly inspired by the many art forms around me— whether that’s photography, fine art, fashion, or poetry. I am inspired by a range of photographic genres and the artists that blend them together to create their own style. I hope that others can find something to connect to within my work, and can see a true reflection of me when viewing my photographs.
