Summary/Artist Statement
Social media promotes unrealistic beauty standards, causing low self-esteem, anxiety, and body image struggles among teenagers. Project HEAL is rewriting that narrative with the “The Real Me” campaign. This campaign empowers teens to embrace authenticity. This is more than a movement, it inspires teens to share their truths, build community, and redefine worth beyond likes and filters. Lets come together, share our truths, and inspire other to do the same.
Advertising Genre: Integrated Campaign; Poster design, Mobile app design, and case study video
Artist's Statement: Hi! I’m Anastasia Anderson my house is Gryffindor and my patronus is an otter. If you know the reference then we are already besties! On a serious note, I’m a visual designer born and raised in Brooklyn, NY specializing in art direction and branding.
Designing digitally was an eye opener for me to actually think of it as something I would do when I grew up. I discovered graphic design in middle school and I continued to love it during High School. When I started to attend college, my direction of what I wanted to do as a profession changed into going into Advertising and Digital Design.
On my time away from designing I love to go shopping, eating/ trying new foods, reading, going to concerts, listening to music, building lego sets, and watching good tv shows and movies.
