Summary/Artist Statement
A visual study of complex systems.

Artist Statement:
My work analyzes the fallibility of imagery through embracing the ever-present imperfections of the photographic medium. I abstract the forms of my subjects as a visual representation towards the vast amounts of complexity in the world today. In my photos I explore the pervasive nature of technology in our modern world. The subjects of my photos are chosen to highlight the interaction between nature and man-made objects in the decaying industrial landscape of America. I find myself anxious towards the increasingly complex nature of society today. Through photography I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the many subtle dangers that are always around us.
