Summary/Artist Statement

M Clawson is a designer and visual artist from the California bay area. She draws inspiration for her work from the duality of gender, and the historical dress which defined them. Meshing men’s clothing with feminine silhouettes and construction details, she seeks to push men’s fashion beyond the stale shell of idealized masculinity it has become.
