- Summary/Artist's Statement
- The world of the arts is essential in allowing for the cultivation of all children’s sense of wonder and imagination. In redesigning this art room space, we seek to highlight the cultural and atmospheric themes of the lives of children at PS 457X. We hope to accomplish this by incorporating the beautiful works of old and current LatinX and Black artists, as well as use colors of cultural expression. The use of these bold colors and a special cultural representation will act as the backdrop to the artistic works of both the children and the artists who inspire them.
