- Summary/Artist's Statement
- My collection incorporates inspiration from natural pearls and vintage silhouettes and ribbons. My color pallet of pastels was drawn from French vintage silk ribbons that I discovered and worked into my first look, a traditional ribbon corset. I found inspiration in natural pearls of many unique shapes and colors and used these to embellish many of my pieces. The variability of natural pearls makes me appreciate the beauty and diversity in the natural world.
