- Summary/Artist's Statement
- Mexico Through a Lens is an exploration of memories, textiles, materials, handicrafts, and cultural heritage. It is woven with sustainable alternatives, androgyny, and sophisticated silhouettes, creating wearable art that redefines masculinity and showcases my beloved Mexico. My thesis explores the lines between tradition and a future driven by experimental techniques. Mexico Through a Lens reconsiders often-overlooked Mexican design, which is full of rich art, tradition, and novel approaches to fashion.
