Summary/Artist's Statement
I created this illustration based on the description of the demagogic eagle in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, an ancient Chinese mythological geography book. The book says it looks like an eagle but has horns and makes baby cries. I adapted it from the words and drew what I thought it would look like. I also added other mythical creatures from the book, such as fish with wings and fish with human faces.
