- Summary/Artist Statement
- Open up your ultra-femininity with a collection emphasizing the sweet aroma that transpires from the most beloved flower, a rose. Scented makeup has been around dating as far back as the 1930s, but how often do we see a compelling makeup product that has three-dimensional packaging to replicate the delightful scent that is highlighted inside the product itself? I was inspired to bring the sweet aroma alive from within, creating a collection consisting of eyeshadow palettes, rose hip oils, and rose lip glosses. Using digital mediums such as Photoshop, I was able to curate a collection where each component will be a reminder of the robust fragrance that has been fused into its formula. I brought my vision to life by photographically styling a prototype of my artistry to fully emphasize to the beholder the exact rich-sweet scent that will linger on them all day long!
