Description/Summary

Annual mural exhibition on the wall of FIT by the Illustration BFA students and alumni of the School of Art and Design. This year, the markable surfaces have extended down 28th Street to include brick wall that is to be painted with acrylics, titled Brick FIT.

Chalk FIT allows students to execute individual illustrations on the exterior walls along Seventh Avenue and 28th Street. Chalk FIT 2016 pays homage to Chelsea, the lively neighborhood that the college calls home. The brick wall will eventually be torn down to make way for construction of FIT’s new academic building on that site.
