What is a home? How do we view the communities that shaped us into who we are today?
For Black History Month, students from the FIT Black Student Union present Love Thy Neighbor’Hood, an exhibition that illustrates the dynamics of home and what that means to each artist. From an outside perspective, many predominantly black neighborhoods are viewed as dangerous and scary places, where nothing good ever comes about. These artists are challenging that narrative through their art. The exhibit features works of varying mediums created by people of a wide-range of backgrounds across the diaspora.

In honor of Black History Month, FIT’s Black Student Union presented an exhibition that celebrated the evolution of Black culture by going beyond the narrative of slavery and back to the rich heritage of culture and tradition in Africa and its expansion worldwide. Black in Time cast a light on creativity, resistance, celebration, self-expression, and Black pride.

FIT's Black Student Union presents "24/7 Fashion," a runway show of student work. The evening was hosted by Coco and Breezy and featured work by student designers Nyleah Ford, Lance, Tiana Clarke, Tiana Guerrero, Caitlyn Riede, Brittany Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Juju, Erica Appleby.
