Scandi style is renowned for its simplicity, functionality, and
understated elegance. Mysa is a Swedish non-seasonal, and readyto-wear brand. It’s created for women to have the perfect basics to
embody the confident, chic, and laid-back person on the go.
The design of the showroom follows this minimalistic style along
with the curves of a Swedish landscape painting. The space is open,
light, and airy that allow the women who enter to follow the curves
and shop their dream shoe collection.

New York City Ballet, one of the foremost ballet companies in the world, pursues the highest levels of artistic excellence and innovation. The Company remains dedicated to their vision as it pursues two primary objectives:to preserve the ballets, dance aesthetic, and standards of excellence created and established by its founders; and to develop new work that draws on the creative talents of contemporary choreographers and composers, and speaks to the time in which it is made.
Ballet is an art form created by the movement of the human body. It’s a language without words, where the body expresses everything through the movement alone. The dance is magical, exciting and tells a story through the motions it creates. The veils within the space are fluid like representing the movements of the dancer and mimicing the dance with free flowing movements.

Girls for Gender Equity (GGE) is an intergenerational organization committed to girls’ and women’s physical, psychological, social, and economic development. Through education, organizing, and physical
fitness, GGE encourages communities to remove barriers and create opportunities for girls and women to live self-determined lives.
GGE envisions a society with optimal physical, economic, educational, and social systems to foster the growth and fulfillment of all its members. To that end, they provide programs that develop strengths, skills, and self-sufficiency in girls and women and help them make meaningful life choices with minimum opposition and maximum community support.
By adopting feminine curvilinear shapes and adding a vibrant color palette with the colors gold and violet, which represents meanings of creativity, wisdom, dignity, and power, a powerful space is created for the generation of girls and woman. With the vibrant color palette, the curvilinear design reiterates feminism as the ever-growing power movement by women pursuing equal rights

Leap is a unique place that replicates parts of the natural environment around the world. With technology and biophilic design married within one space, this center is a prime destination for those in the Tri-State area, stripped of the opportunity to travel long-distance/internationally.

N.Vite is a space designed for students of both Elliot Housing (poor living conditions) and The Avenues (a high-end school for the wealthier) to come together and connect. N.Vite essentially "invites" students to one home while providing areas for education, retail, and entertainment.

The world of the arts is essential in allowing for the cultivation of all children’s sense of wonder and imagination. In redesigning this art room space, we seek to highlight the cultural and atmospheric themes of the lives of children at PS 457X. We hope to accomplish this by incorporating the beautiful works of old and current LatinX and Black artists, as well as use colors of cultural expression. The use of these bold colors and a special cultural representation will act as the backdrop to the artistic works of both the children and the artists who inspire them.

Spacial and airy interior design with the maximum use of light will provide a bright and energetic atmosphere. The interior elements and colors associate with jazz and blues music's heritage and history, the way of repetition will create a rhythm like the Jazz melody. Overall, it is a space immersed in the surroundings, humble yet delightful.

Inspired by Thai chef Bo Songvisava, the zero-waste philosophy is an aspect of the philosophy of the circle of life and the respect of nature. When we take from nature, we take with respect and make the things we took from nature become truly valuable.  The Mortise Tenon structure of the light symbolize everything is connected together. Self-sufficiency and sustainability is not just a single element or step, it is a system that involves things and people around us. Material: wood, bamboo, banana fiber paper, recycled napkin cast paper.

As interior creators, I believe it's our responsibility to transform any space into extraordinary and memorable destinations. The beauty of a space should be measured not only by its aesthetic, but also by its story and its efforts to remain sustainable, contributing to the wellness of future generations. My journey at FIT has been invaluable, giving me the education, friendships, and experience necessary to pursue even greater aspirations from here on.

My childhood environment was my inspiration for this project. Growing up and seeing what women and their children go through on a daily basis, with little to no help, would make me think, "there has to be a better way." My work explores the challenges battered women and children face and how to make them feel safe in their temporary homes. "Hope's Door" will provide the residents with the tools they need to enter society feeling proud and confident. What makes this center so special are the programs offered to the residents. My intent is to tackle issues that are not currently being supported, those that could make true change in domestic violence and its vicious cycle. My design utilized natural materials to draw out inspiration and security though light and textures. I have designed each space throughout the center to specifically support freedom and independence.
